It's a great show on Netflix starring The Tucc (Stanley Tucci) who is on death row for murdering his wife…,,anyhoo he has this great line where he's talking to someone else on death row about the fact that they don't have a life, they exist day in and day out in this small room until someone has the decency to switch them off.

I was floored by that line. It's my life. Well, existence. It made me realize that I'm the one who has to show that decency to myself.

I read stories of how a spouse flew to Switzerland or somewhere to help an ill person ctb and leave on their own terms. I so wish I had someone like that in my life.

I think a lot of us need to show that decency to ourselves, and know it's ok, despite what others might say.

Society does not understand this, hence has no decency for us. It's worse. Instead of trying to understand the culprit of their byproduct they look at at the symptoms which they can't fix. They can't fix because they don't have the necessary tools. They don't have the necessary tools because of their belligerent behavior against something they do not understand. Society has not progressed enough in that aspect. Technology and science did however because improving live quality of majority is the priority. We are not that majority and are left behind.

I am pretty sure most of us have, and it didn't work out. Which is why we are here.

I mean many of us sought this website out specifically for research purposes because life did not work out, and we have given CTBing great thought and didn't do it on impulse.
