I just procured some Mecilzine (meto alternative) and SN, but I couldn't get my hands on some benzos, only have some otc sleeping aid. In order to make sure the effect I feel is the result of SN instead of the sleeping aid, I had considered going without a sleeping aid.

I understand one of the effect that make benzos good for SN and similar method is that it inhibits motor functions in your brain (i.e. prevent seizure and consequent vomiting). I value reliability higher than anything, so is there any deciding factors that benzos affect?

If I attempt SN it would have to be without a benzo and that is one thing that scares me, since I'm so anxious naturally .. I.e. having to sit there and soberly watch the effects kick in etc.

Have you tried getting benzos to help the cause? I think I would have to go with 2 10mg valiums if attempting this method even though 1 10mg gets me off pretty good.

Meclizine isn't a meto alternative; it's an anti histamine. All the recommended anti emetics are dopamine blockers.

Benzos can very slightly reduce the chances of vomiting; they're probably the best option, something quick acting like xanax/midazolam etc are the best options in my opinion.

Sleep aids are totally unnecessary to use as SN causes unconsciousness anyway but may help make the process smoother and reduce anxiety (just make sure you time the dose properly so you don't pass out before drinking the SN)

Meclizine, although an anti-histamine, is a dopamine blocker according to Wikipedia. Wrong maybe?

FYI, The PPH also include dimenhydrinate, an anti-histamine, as a commonly used anti-emetic drug.

Yeah I take a low benzo dose at night but I'm tolerant now and my mom controls my meds so I couldn't get more
