Well, first off, notes can be used for multiple of reasons.
Closure, revenge, whatever floats your goat. If you want to avoid getting more questions into an equation then write a note according to that.

Second off, why would you store it on a phone in an electronic format? That is literally the worst idea for a suicide note storage.

Maybe leave a note at home? I personally leave several notes / letters to family members, just to comfort them in knowing it wasn't them. Don't know where you're coming from of course but if you do have something to say I think it's better than to leave loved ones guessing

I would definitely leave a note. People will have questions, and I think it's important to think about what you're leaving behind. I think instead of a note though, friends and family would much rather have you here to talk about what's going on. I know things seem hopeless, I'm struggling with my own suicidal ideation, so trust me, I know. I'm sorry to undermine your self evaluation, but if anything can get better, I think you deserve to be ok.

Young and old people alike can get locked out of a phone. Automatic updates can randomly reset phones, wipe data, and lock people out.

Technology is often unpredictable.

Paper has worked for thousands of years.

Please consider staying alive. Im suicidal as well, but if there's any hope at all, pay attention to it. I know it's really hard to see past yourself right now and to see through the pain, but I just can't help but feel like I want things to work out for you. If I could make you feel better, which I don't presume I could, but that would be one more day I felt like I could keep going. I don't want to insult you, and I can't change your mind, but when I think of someone else going through with that it makes me so sad. It's really complicated, cause I know how frustrating it is to feel like people just can't understand, and they can't really, but I know how it feels to just want it to stop. I hope you can see a light. If not, have you thought about a mass text right before you jump? A mass text to really think about who you want to include, and why you want to include them.
