I'm translating an Asian horror novel with my poor English proficiency, and I've been doing it for a long time, but I've only translated 10%, far from the best part of it, but I don't think I'll ever be able to finish translating it.
Does anyone here like horror novels?
Should I post it?

I think a section for creative works would be a great addition to the forum now we're on this topic. There's a post your art thread which is generally paintings and drawings but a little section so that there coile be individual threads for each artist would be a really good way foe people to share their work and in some cases leave a little bit of their legacy behind. I think it's really good for those attempting recovery as well.

On the topic of translation, do you know that captchas are used for translation? That's one of their main functions believe it or not. These days computing and AI can easily tell if you're a bot or not so captchas aren't really required for that. What they are good for having internet users translate work. I think, (and I could be wrong) it was initially done in order to get scanned books into text format. There are some letters and characters that automation was uncertain of so instead it would offer those up as captchas and once so many people had all verified it as correct by inputting the same characters it would be submitted to the relevant publication. I suppose that's technically not translation so much as transcription right? Still, I found it quite an impressive use of a preexisting bit of code. Ingenuity is great!

Regarding your horror, if it's unfinished I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to post it or not but I'm fully behind you doing so! 🙂
