• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I expect it will largely depend on who you get in terms of officers. Is it illegal to buy where you are? I doubt they'll arrest you though. I think a lot depends on your history- whether you have a history of ideation or attempts as to how worried they'll be about you.

People have taken various tactics with welfare checks. I guess you have to decide on what you're most comfortable with. Some people have simply denied all knowledge. Sone probably claimed it was for other uses- meat curing or whatever. Others have been honest but said that feeling has passed now and they are ok.

I had a welfare check during the IC SN palaver. I was honest about why I bought it but emphasized it was for later use. In case I developed a debilitating illness in old age. I made it very clear I was in no imminent risk. They eventually left (leaving the SN with me) after I agreed to be put in touch with a helpline.

But, yes I suspect they'll ask you where you bought it. Possibly how you found out about it. How much you bought. A detective contacted me a few weeks/ months after to ask more questions. How much I paid. Did I have any correspondence?

For me, it was pretty straight forward. I told them that I never revealed to the seller why I was purchasing it. I deleted correspondance because I hoped it wouldn't be traced back to him in the event I ever used it. I said I'd rather not discuss how I found out about it but I told them I'd first read a very detailed report of SN poisoning in an online police report! Kind of ironic really.

Do your best to stay calm if they do return. They likely just want to check that you're ok and the rest will be a tick boxing exercise. Maybe it would be a good idea to find out where you stand legally in terms of your purchasing it. When I bought mine, it wasn't illegal but it was a controlled substace to buy within this country. I think they have been trying to toughen up the rules but I still find it unlikely they would arrest you.

So sorry this has happened to you. There's a thread here somewhere with similar, and another user has commented what to say to get out of it. Something about learning about meat curing or something, shit, wish I could find it or remember the user name.

You could say something along those lines?

No, you won't go to prison for buying something that is for meat curing.

I'm pretty sure more and more people are getting welfare checks after purchasing SN. Even if I could, I definitely wouldn't, because I can't risk this.

What country you in?

It makes no sense for them to come to you. If you didn't buy it from a site that explicitly sold suicide products. This is a preservation product and I don't think you need to explain. Everything they can say is based on presumption. It was and remains a product for food use.

It was probably not the police knocking. If it was, they would have forced a way in if you didn't open up.

I disagree.
DMC website is phony enough by itself (excessive prices, unconventional method of payment, ...)
Journalists have even discovered and met the man behind DMC.
DMC is definitely known as a site that sells suicide products.
