So life has taken an unexpected turn over the past week.
Despite everything I've been through throughout my life (emotional abuse, housing problems, financial problems, depression incl suicide attempts), I may have found an organisation that is going to help me in a real way to get my life back together.

But I've just received a significant tax refund from HMRC which would more than cover the cost of 'N'.

So I can either see how it goes and risk more disappointment, or call it a day and say I've had enough.
I guess I can also see how it goes and if things don't work out then decide...

I guess my situation is different from yours but that's what I'm doing right now. I'm seeing how it's gonna go. I don't know, kinda like trying one last time I guess. I supposed it depends if you are willing to risk disappointment once again, and if the reward is worth the risk. And for me personally I take into account the amount of suffering and pire pain I go through each day just because of my mental illnesses well and the circumstances. So I decided to give it one last try but if on any given day I see/realize/decide that the pain is too much and I can't go on I'll call it the end of the line and end it without waiting to see my last try through to the end. I wish you the best of luck! I'm sorry for the pain.❤️❤️❤️ I love you, and I'm with you.

See how it goes. If you've found somewhere that is helping you then at least give it a try. The way you've worded things makes me think you're not fully set on leaving this world yet and you have reasons not to so give this new support a try. You can always save the money incase you need to CTB at a later date but see how it goes. If you've found somewhere that is helping you then at least give it a try. I guess you're right.
I'm really fed up of my life being so crap.
I'd definitely rather end my life than go on living like this, but I would of course hope that my life gets better instead.
I'll see how things turn out over the next month.

Yes, see how it goes. You never know, things may work out for you/get better. Give it a try if you still have some hope and willpower left.

If you choose to not CTB, you can reverse your decision later. If you choose to CTB, the decision is final once its done and the choice is removed.

For me, if you are indecisive, the decision is a no brainer. Because you lose nothing if you seek help and it doesnt work, and you can just reverse that decision later on.

I would say definitely seek this help and see what happens, knowing that if you feel helpless at the end of it, and like you need to CTB that option will still be there.

I agree- it definitely wouldn't hurt to see how things unfold for you before making the final decision to end it. I believe that if we have some hope to keep going, it's at least worth a shot
