Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Recently I have been seeing a shit ton of crime and robbing in my area and I'm not going to be caught without protection. I have already taken CCW classes and am very experienced with firearms so it will be very easy. I font act impulsively so I won't ctb in public, that's fucked up imo

I have a Glock 26 with hollows and a good safariland holter will carry it everywhere I go (except my campus, duh)

What are your thoughts on this matter?

Sorry to hear about the crime... are you at risk of being assaulted? Is potentially killing another person worth it to protect property?

I wouldn't personally want to have a gun stored at home, let alone carry one. It seems like a liability to me. When I was in college I thought about learning how to shoot & considered taking concealed carry classes with some of my friends. Then I was robbed at gunpoint before in a facility where I wouldn't have been allowed to carry, and realized that having firearms in my every day life would probably not help me.

I do have pepper spray in my purse but can't imagine ever actually using it. It's there to make me feel safer.

There is a risk factor in my city due to the amount of druggies and violent crimes. I have been shooting guns for years now and taken tactical urban combat classes along with CCW classes. I am using hollowpoints so passing through won't be as much as an issue of overpenetration.
