Philip Nitschke seems a little more legit (as does Exit in general although I can't be certain), but I can see Australia cracking down hard on people for that also, and what Australia can do, other countries can as well, so even if Nitschke was indeed well-intentioned, that might not mean a whole lot

What do you mean by "this site is on my side"?
Please, do not deem PePH a bulletproof truth, it has some drawbacks as well and it means that the author is not ideal too. There is a thread proving that it is not easy to buy N in Peru as stated by Nitschke or before it was 15 g SN (do not remember which edition). There is never 100% guarantee you are getting bulletproof information, that's up to you to check everything.
Plus it is not likely they will come to you because of SN.

I'm Australian, new to this site and certainly found the various differing opinions on methods to be more confronting and less reassuring overall than the PPH or the other books are. But that happens on any forum about any topic, and doesn't mean there is anything malevolent involved.

What do you mean?? I find this post to be very baffling.

Nobody on this forum cares if you use SN or not. Nobody is trying to make you do anything, either. We just provide community-gathered information so everyone can make informed decisions, and it's ok if you trust other sources more. It's up to you to do your own research and do what you think is best.

I would word this differently. I wouldn't say that nobody cares if you use it, or that this is an information gathering community like it's some kind of resource for how to CTB. There IS a recovery thread, and there's also people in here who want to be comforted too.

Thanks, but I'm fine with what I said. The implications of the original post are that somehow this forum is trying to get that person in trouble by way of SN. That there's some malicious conspiracy to make them do it. Or something. Like I said, baffling... but pretty accusatory.
And the reality is nobody's trying to make them do anything and they can use it or not. We do gather resources. Every thread analysing any method is a resource. There is a pinned resources thread on the main page. Megathreads are detailed instructions.

Maybe I worded it sloppily. It is almost 3am. I was only addressing specifically what this post mentioned, that they don't trust us or our information as much as the PPH or other places. And that they felt threatened somehow. Like the forum intentionally gave them bad info.
