Today is my first day not drinking water or eating. Dying of thirst takes 3 to 10 days. With my luck it will be 10 but I am giving it a shot.
I think this matches the jumping in a tigers cage thread.

Yea this wont work. You'll either cave and drink and eat as self preservation will kick in or you'll pass out and get sent to the hospital where they will see your dehydrated and theyll pump ya full of fluids

Its deff possible I went 3 days no water or food. Training ciggys. Ran out of smokes though so had to go out. You need to drink alchohol before hand an try sweat. Do whatever u can to help the dehydration. Also you need to be somewhere no one can find you. I just went into the bush. Natures got a funny way of finding you though. Youl go unconscious before any real pain. Mayby wet ur mouth if that gets too badbad but don't digest. But yea you need to be somewhere %100 no one will find you.

I know one case where person actually died of hunger. He did it intentionally. He was only drinking some water, all this procedure lasted for about 20 days, he described every single feeling he had. Be prepared to feel how your muscles dissolve some calories probably on 15th day of strict hunger and water diet. Anyway, both you and the guy I mentioned are extremely brave persons !

It sounds so painful and hard OP. Good luck. I've never fasted without water. Google the fasting video of Aaron cohen - her body goes through a lot and she was taking in water so your lethargy is understandable. At a low body weight without water I sometimes got BAD kidney pain, uti, and urine the color of coke almost. Strength to you if you can do it. :(

Judging from my research it will take more like a week or more. So don't get too excited about dying tomorrow.

If the government finds out that someone is starving themselves, they're not gonna wait for them to pass out. In the US, it would be an escorted trip to the hospital. I'm sure it would be a section in the UK.

You're right to a point. They may escort you to the hospital, but there is no law anywhere that states that you have to eat or drink everyday. Also, the hospital can not force you to eat, nor can they force you to take an iv to pump liquids in you.
Suicide by starvation is probably the only real legal way to do suicide in the US.

Terminal dehydration is a real thing. Do your research. Its more common in old people. Is actually quite a peaceful and easy way to go. Compared to others. When done right.
