So I'm a female. I've had lots of romantic feelings for men and they can turn me on but what really turns me on is lesbian porn or the thought of being with another woman, sexually. I've slept with other women and really enjoyed it but I've never had romantic feelings for a woman. Nor can I imagine dating another woman but possibly because I've never met the right woman.

My exes (who were very abusive by the way) often said I was a lesbian slag and took the piss.

I don't think I'm a lesbian because I've had romantic feelings for men before.

I feel a bit confused to be honest! I have always felt this way, as long as I remember.

I just wanted to know if anyone else could relate?

I may relate as a man so in the opposite way. I swing both ways in my sexual preferences but have romantic feelings for women only. I don't get too hung up on labels though. Their only use is to identify something without a lengthy explanation. Labels can change over time and do not define me.

I like your perspective on not being hung up with labels. Perhaps I should just roll with it and go with the flow. I guess not everything needs a title and somethings can just be enjoyed. It's nice to know that there are other people who can relate to this. Thanks :).

Romantic attraction and sexual attraction are distinct concepts. There is also sensual attraction (non-sexual touch) and aesthetic attraction (strictly appreciating appearance).

What you're describing would be heteroromantic and bisexual, but these labels could change over time, depending on what you discover about yourself in the future.

The main thing here is, whatever you're feeling -- it's very normal and common.
