Genes, environment, AND childhood trauma can all cause negative, depressive feelings. And we all deal with those things in various ways. Substance abuse kept my demons at bay for decades. But everything ends. I doubt I'll live out the new year. But I still hope. And as long as you feel hope, hang in there.
