• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

My father is an alcoholic and every day in home with him is a nightmare, he took my last money and fooled me, he doesn't want me to live with him anymore (he literally took me with him to another country few months ago)
All my trust towards him is gone because he's lying all the time 24/7 and lately he said that I won't live with him anymore soon, I'm in panic I'm looking for a job for over 1 or 2 months now but its so fucking hard and I'm so scared thank you all for reading it I have no one to talk to about it, lots of love

while i certainly can't say it gets better, because i'm still homeless, i will say you are not alone in that fear.

i fucking hate that basic needs are still a fight to aquire, where we are in a world that if we all had housing and food, perhaps some fear could be taken away. however, i can provide some insight!

1) we as humans can be incredibly adaptful to our surroundings. in your area in the meantime, you may be able to find a shelter, or something of the like. if you have a car, while it's not ideal, rest stops are a wonderful place to rest and camp out in your car in. (within reason, as cops do patrol these areas sometimes.

2) sometimes you can find nonprofits that can hook you up with some basic needs. peer support programs exist that help with the homeless population, and i have been gifted some food/clothes/etc through that.

im not going to sugarcoat it, though. homelessness is torture, but it Can be a temporary situation. i really wish you the best in whatever is to come, but know you do not have to hold that pain/experience alone.

i used to live in my car, if you don't have one though, you can try and stop by your local shelters to see if they'll take you in.
worst case scenario is you'll be left outside without much, and even then you can survive with a phone, a charger, some place with internet, and a source of food and water.
my situation isn't much better but i survived, only CTB if you think it's 100% the best idea you can come up with.

That sounds like such an awful situation to be trapped in, it's certainly such a horrible world we exist in where there's all this endless suffering, existing truly is so dreadful. But anyway best wishes.
