If you had a button to press or a pill to take which could kill you instantly, would you do it? There's no time to prepare. No final phone calls, emails or goodbyes. It's now or nothing.

I want to get all my affairs in order before I go so up till recently I would have said no. But right now, I think I'd do it without hesitation.

I can't help but burden. Husband is disabled and has no sources of income except my disability. I wouldn't be leaving him much to get by for his lifetime. He's one that always says "You have to try to live as long as you possibly can." You being the collective you as in all humans. I said I will live as long as I WANT to live.

That possibility of hesitation is why I haven't CTB yet. I want to resolve any ambivalence no matter how insignificant it might seem before I make an attempt. I've been working on it for quite a while now. I just hope I'll be ready soon.
