It would be speculation but that doesn't mean you would be far off the mark. For instance, what are the chances that select individual would suffer from loneliness in a big way?
If someone is at a store then I think it's possibly somewhat slightly reasonable to assume that maybe perhaps it could be guessed that the person might potentially be there to buy something and that the thing they are here to buy would solve an immediate problem they have.
