For me, 14. I don't really care about all the freedoms I'd lose....I'd be a stupid kid again. Anything from 10-16 is fine, really.

Even the smallest things feeling like the end of the world is something I miss. I miss when my world was so small the dumbest shit felt important. And it was okay that I was like that, because of course I was.

17 was great. Realistically, 30-39. I'm 60 now.

8 years, because that was the time when I had no worries and played with my best friend in the woods during the summer.

35.This was the age when I mentally had my shit together and I was still young enough to be in pretty good shape.

Either that or like 10 so I have zero responsibilities.

Assuming that all that is changed is my body, and I don't get mentally changed by it-- 25 years old.
If I did get mentally changed... 16 years old. I was at my happiest then, and everything about my life was clear as day to me.

I hate to be debby (donald? maybe for men?) downer... but... whatever age you would pick, if you are that age "forever" eventually it's no different mentally than aging.

Physical changes as we age are definite... IF you could freeze your body at a specific age that would have some meaning... stop physically aging and stay at your peak fitness of 30 years old or something forever... that has some merit. But you can't stay 8 or 16 or 25 mentally forever. Not unless you have your mind wiped every year or something so you don't retain any long term memory. As long as you live and experience things, you will age mentally.

Think "Interview with the Vampire" and the girl who was turned into an immortal vampire at 10 or however young she was... and she ages mentally over the year but is stuck in the physical body of a 10 year old.

None, I just would never wish for something as dreadful, torturous and harmful as existence existence to me is the most terrible mistake and all I wish and hope for is true permanent peace from it, in this existence so evil dreadful and torturous only non-existence can bring me any peace, for me ceasing to exist would be the positive solution to finally find peace from the suffering and torture of this existence I just always saw as the most terrible abomination and the suffering and torture of existing is endless with existing beings in agony every second.

All I want is to erase this existence, I find it so deeply undesirable to exist in every way possible, for me every second is torture to be conscious, the fact that humans choose to impose this existence causing all this cruelty, suffering and harm is just so terrible to me.

Suppose I couldn't choose to be unborn forever?

Probably mid to late 30's were my better years. I'd lost some of my shyness by then. I was more settled in the career I wanted and I was enthusiatic about it at that point. I was comparitively healthy back then too.

Eh, in my impossible scenario it would've worked somehow 😂

I need to watch that show. I didn't know that, that sounds interesting

If you read the book (I haven't watched the movie or the TV show) it's really creepy... because (spoilers) early on in the book a couple of vampires kill/turn the little girl and because she is a little girl they keep her with them and take care of her like a surrogate daughter. The story just keeps going from there and vampires are immortal so... one of the adult vampires just sort of notices how at some point the girl is acting all weird... and she points out that while she still looks like a kid she is like 70 or something at that point. I can't remember all the details... but, the adult vampires taking care of her were still thinking of her as a child forever, but meanwhile she is mentally maturing like you would living forever... and it gets weird.

Kirsten Dunst played the role in the movie... I don't know who played the part in the TV show.

25. I feel like that's a perfect age where you're young enough to be cool and attractive but old enough not to be looked down on as not a "real" adult. You can fit in in any setting really. And, on balance, it's probably your peak age for all-around health and fitness.

Probably 20, because that was my peak physically. Not that it was much of a peak. It wasn't a great year for me in terms of mental health, but with the benefit of hindsight I think I could make it a good one.

Probably seventeen. I was tempted to also propose fourteen, but with seventeen I'd at least have some freedoms, such as a bank account.
I wish I was a yokai or something.
