it doesn't actually, or at least it's not as simple as that. with the Covid vaccine there is no virus being injected at all. it injects a copy of instructions of how the virus is made, not the virus itself, your body then replicates that and creates antibodies to fight it. At no point is anyone ever injected with COVID. And even with live viruses, the virus has been genetically modified to not actually make you fully sick, just allow your body to make antibodies to fight it off if you do get infected.

see this is actually why I've been rethinking my whole healthy lifestyle thing. I've never drank. Never smoked. Never did drugs.

I don't like the concept of smoking…sounds pretty terrible. I accidentally drank alcohol once and I dont really like strong drinks like that. But drugs…I'm thinking if I can find someone to buy them from, I'd like to try all of them. All of them. Especially if it fucked me up and I could take my life with them.

Eh, the problem with this approach is that you're risking losing life quality more than losing years of life. If you smoke or drink heavily, for example, it's still possible that you'll live 60+ but now you suffer from chronic health problems you would've have had otherwise.

Oh isnt it everywhere? Smoking, drinking alcoholic drinks, eating, exercising, and even sleeping. Heck even breathing too much oxygen can be fatal or drinking too much water. Anything done excessively is unhealthy therefore shortens one's lifespan. But the gist is it cannot be measured how much of your life has been reduced, nothing can. Kinda ironic but it just leaves one to be hopeful that their life's end will be soon.

That is true for the Moderna and Pfizer shot, but the J&J shot is actually considered a "true" vaccine, in that it does inject a modified virus.
