I've tried to kill myself using Helium 3 times now, the first 2 times I was super anxious and ended up stopping myself right before i felt like i was going to pass out. The third time i took about 1.5mg of xanax (found out that my parents had some for some reason, it was ''expired'' but it still worked). I was super calm and even felt a bit tired, all my anxiety was gone and i was genuinely happy that i could finally do it, only to find out mid way that there wasn't enough helium left from the last time. Already ordered another tank of helium, I'm even somewhat cheerful now that i know that next week, when the tank arrives, I'll finally be able to do it.

Hope that if anyone has had the same problems as I did, this will help you out. And sorry for any spelling mistakes and whatnot.
And if you're unable to get xanax to help you calm down, turns out that listening to songs that boost your mood also help. Alcohol may also help eShrug.

Precisely!

Whenever some ageing movie actor or singer hangs himself or drowns, there's always a truckload of benzos in his/her blood.

Best to make sure you've had some experience with benzodiazepines and know their effects on your particular physiology. Wouldn't want to get drowsy and pass out too soon, or find out that your motor skills get too impaired at the dose you're taking.

Also worth considering that benzodiazepines aren't for everyone - they have calmative and sedative properties, so that's helpful for people who feel anxious, but could be counter-productive for those who are fatigued or lethargic.
