ideas for partner letter?

hello all again (: just wanted to pop in and get some opinions (or answers?), i feel this is the best way to get some. i'd like to start writing notes for those i care about for a sense of closure for them, since i kinda have mine and whatnot. while my friends and family are not much to worry about, i'm moreso stubbed on how to write a letter to a partner describing why you're catching a bus and not returning. what are some good ways to basically just to tell him i love him? that this is my choice because i don't want to suffer anymore? i know that could be one, but any examples and other thoughts would be appreciated too!

I would make sure to let him know that he did as much as he could, you don't blame him at all, and it would probably have happened even sooner if it wasn't for the positive presence he brought to your life. Also, even if it's hard, I would let him know that you hope he finds happiness with someone else one day, obviously you don't want him to move on immediately, but when he's accepted it and is ready to you don't want him to feel guilty that he's found someone else. You're a really considerate person for thinking of your loved ones even after you'll be gone, and while it'll probably hurt him I'm sure you'll find the words to let him know that it wasn't his fault. <:
