A research study, conducted by students from a local university, is looking for volunteers with mental illnesses to talk about their journey.
A big part of my journey, the past 2 years, is this website. I have read many opinions on whether it's good or bad to talk about this website to outsiders. But what about researchers? Would it be good to tell them how good it was to have one place on this forsaken planet that feels real? Or better to keep it to myself, otherwise they might focus their next research on a website like SaSu and subsequently bring more focus to it (with bad consequences.. like in the UK).
I would never mention the name or the exact contents of it (like discussion of methods or goodbye threads). Maybe I will just refer to it as an online support group that I found on Reddit or something...
