Method I wanted to use my cars

I have garage with two cars in it. One from 1989 and one 1995. I had intended to turn both on and let the room fill with exhaust. I would sleep in one car. Now I read this does not work. I am devastated. I do not know what I will do now. Is there a way to make this work? I have degenerative brain disease. I have a hard time understanding hard instructions. Thank you.

You just need some big tubes and packing tapes

The one from 1989 might work. Another option when it comes to carbon monoxide is to use these one time grills you can buy, in a sealed off room (like a bathroom or garage). I've seen some sucessful cases in my country with them.
