I'd like to greet the community here. I will try to keep this short.
I have been suffering from tinnitus since 3.5 years ago. It is constantly progressing worse and on top of that I have developed hyperacusis.
I have turned from a vivid, productive person to a hermit. This condition is not well acknowledged but it's impossible t live with it when it is severe.
I want to live but this is not life. Unfortunately there's absolutely nothing to help me and alleviate the symptoms. It's a a one way ticket to hell.

I also suffer from both as a comorbidity to autism, mine isn't at the most severe level but even that alone can make my life bad enough.

That said, have you tried headphones with ANC? Or maybe building a room with acoustic isolation. Those will not solve the problem but they can make it bearable.

Thank you for your reply. It took 3 years for me to reach a state of coping, however with many sacrifices and losses. I quit my successful career, I quit my art, I quit music and basically a normal social life. All these losses made me depressed. However I started to find a way to cope and when I started thinking of alternatives in terms of life planning - 3 weeks ago things got worse out of the blue. I just can't believe it. Before that I could still do a few things I loved like travelling to peacful places etc. I haven't tried ANC but I am constantly wearing hearing protection. Even if I manage to cope with the new level of symptoms I just can't cope with a life in a room. I am too young for this. It's impossible to live a life in complete isolation. It makes me exremely depressed.

Thanks for the video. I appreciate. I was already aware of it. Unfortunately this lady is taking advantage of desperate people. (If you check she has even deactivated commenting on uTube) Tinnitus and hyperacusis derives from damage in the inner-ear / auditory system / brain. Research is still poor and doctors can't fix this damage yet. I have tried a lot of treatments, especially alternative ones, such as relaxation techniques, meditation, acupuncture, bio resonance, homeopathy among others. Everything to no avail. I just wasted tons of money. I began to follow the scientific research. It's interesting but it will take decades for something to come up. I can't wait that long. I joined the forum to find information on drug methods. I want to die. The only thing that still keeps me reluctant doing it is my family. They will never understand. They will only become devastated by the fact of suicide. How do others deal with that?

I'm sorry for your suffering. It's especially hard when you have a condition like yours.

I suffer from tinnitus as well. It's not easy to live with, on top of all of the other stresses of life. There have been reports of people driven to suicide because of it. I can understand why. It's awful having this noise that we can't escape from.

I am terribly sorry to read that you also have tinnitus. Tinnitus is a really harsh condition. I used to be active on a tinnitus forum. Even there I could not relate to many people, as the majority have this mild and they eventually go on with their lives, preaching to everybody that it's not a big deal etc. But there are people like me where the story is different. It keeps getting worse and worse and you can't habituate. Even to my current level I was able to manage in a way but hyperacusis kicked in. Hyperacusis is the real killer for me I guess. I hope you will feel better at some point.

Thanks for you reply. I ques making it look like a accident is not easy. I recommend you to have a look at the peaceful pill handbook. The various methods are explained very well.

N would be the best way. As far as I got this right, but it's extremely hard to obtain.

Yes that's true. as far as i know there are only 2 (also not 100%) reliable sources to buy the N. From A and from C. There are some threads here on the forum about it.
