I want to kill myself but i’m so scared

I've been suffering for years, since i was twelve years old. Since i was 13 i've had addictions to drinking, smoking, drugs, and cutting. I've tried to leave earth multiple times, but it never worked.
I want to try again, but i live with my family, so i don't want to hang myself in case i get found early and it results in permanent brain damage. Is there any way i can kill myself without buying any chemicals or drugs, that won't hurt me for long? I would try a gun, but they are illegal in my country.

There are other violent means of rapidly destroying the brain, but these 1) are less reliable than you might imagine, and 2) have impacts upon innocent members of the public.

i have tried multiple therapists, but they don't work. i do speak with a woman who works at my younger siblings' primary school, though, because she went through a similar thing. thank you for reminding me that my family will miss me because my little siblings and my parents are the only people keeping me alive atm

I also just wish I had a painless way to be gone as to be free from all suffering is all I hope for, I also fear trying to die going wrong and I find it so horrific how such could happen, to me it's so cruel how people have to fear that in the first place, but anyway I hope you find peace.
