  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

She was unbelievably supportive. She believes that our lives are in our hands, while we may be influenced by external events, the world at large has no goddamn idea what it's doing. And has no business telling people they can't check out. She told me she'd be sad to lose me, because she's proud of me for at least trying to get help (I'm talking to a psychiatrist to see about doing a sliding scale payment plan) and in the end, if I decide to do it, that I should reach out and let her know so she can tell me she loves me before I go.
She was extremely frustrated that I had been pushed this far, she has said she will refuse to ever speak to my father again because of his role in my state, and that she wants me to be happy, and if that makes me happy, then she'll support me.

You're so lucky to have such a supportive mother! I wish my mom was that supportive, she would threaten to take me to the hospital

Congratulations! I did the same movement last week. But I told my nuclear family, to my close friends, and to my therapist and psychiatrist too. CTB is on my mind everyday, but at least im trying to recover.

Be happy with your courage for breaking the silence. Nobody deserves to suffer alone.

Wow... I'm happy for you. I wish mine were supportive. Unfortunately, I can't even tell her anything without her wanting to hospitalize me or have it turn into an argument. Ah well...

That's a tough conversation . I never told my mom but she determined it on her own and sends me anti suicide videos and such. And she's a motivational blogger so I can see when she posts content how it applies to my situation

My mother's a neglectful, abusive cunt. I envy anyone with a decent mother.

That's great that she understands and supports you, my family look at me as if I'm crazy and that I'm lying only now that I have explained that I'm very close do they care but it's too little too late I think. My mind is set and the wheels are in motion
