I'm 6 hours away from the closest bridge that I think will be close to 100% fatality rate...

It's the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia. It's over water and it's 876 feet high (267 meters). From the looks of it, there are no suicide nets or other precautions. I think the travel there will be peaceful for my last moments and that way none of my family will have to find me.

Anyone have any advice or stories related to jumping from this bridge? I just want to make sure it's a done deal. I'll probably cut a couple of arteries before I do it just to make sure I'm dead.

That's a long ways up. Some claim you have a heart attack after you jump. I don't know if that's true or not. 870 feet is what 80 stories high?
I just read on here the other day the number is 7 to get to heaven., for how many stories one needs to jump off of in order ctb. Where are you planning to cut at which artery? I learned alot in here. I guess a box cutter is the way to go to get thru arteries better. You probably already know all of this.

I'm not really experienced with methods and stuff but what I can say is good luck with whatever you do @Sabrina_Iris. I hope that when you jump you land into peace and happiness x

The NRG a scary bridge man. May i recommend the GGB in San Francisco? Yeah, it costs alot, but you are gonna commit suicide so money dosent matter. Also the GGB gives a great view.

No, the GGB is a very bad idea. This is due to the fact that there are constant/frequent patrols by the CHP (California Highway Patrol) and many pedestrians and bystanders. Plus there are also some fences and barriers that make it difficult to scale the bridge before being stopped. It is not worth to go all the way to the west coast over a famous bridge known for suicide as there is likely many barriers and obstacles making it very, very difficult for one to go through it.

What makes it scarier than GGB? Jumping off any bridge is scary imo.

@Sabrina_Iris that won't be necessary. A cat would probably die at that height. The bleed from the artery is adequate if not found soon. If only I could afford a way to see such beautiful scenery before my end. It is like a final departure from my nearest dearest love. However, I could make it to Niagara falls before I get there. If only that city ever sleeps or I'd have to be high on adrenaline to run and hop over the railings.

I've tried to kill myself cutting arteries many times before and it hasn't worked... I think I've picked a good bridge. I'm going to be spending every dime I have to afford the gas to drive there but I'm killing myself so the money doesnt matter.

Ive been to GGB and theres too many factors that could cause me to fail. Plus that's a 2 day drive vs 6 hours and I cant afford that nor do I want to go to the west coast really. I think the bridge I chose is a really great place to go.

Yeah I would stick with the NRG bridge in this case. Also, iirc there was another member that decided to take this bridge back in January. I don't know if he is still around but I assume he is at peace.

Radial on both arms. It would take a while to bleed out by just doing that and I've failed this method before so it would just be an extra precaution. I'm a long-time self harmer, so I have the razors I will use.

I've heard of that bridge, seems like a beautiful place. And people actually jump off there a lot, they just come down in one piece!
