I have my N for 2 years now. I know what you mean but to move on I need to get rid of anything associated with suicide including my SS account.
If sufficiently diluted you can put everything down the drain, question is just what counts as "sufficiently diluted".

depends on the country you live in, if they don't really care about confidentiality then it might not be a safe option.
Agreed I held my SN for a year as I attempted recovery. It was comforting having that option if things got worse. It's an awful feeling not having that anymore.

I worked in a hospital before.. Medical waste bins are indeed in some rooms but I have no authority to enter these rooms now.. too risky. And the big dumsters outside are locked at all times.
You're right. But his is a decent humane dignified death we're talking about. You dont put N down the fucking drain. That is so offensive I just can't. Save it. Savour it. Maybe for once you get old.

Yeah- I'd definitely save it but then- I don't really intend to 'recover'. I guess that's the ultimate way of commiting to life- by removing the means to end it (peacefully at least.)
Im glad you're going to save it. You have gold in your hands. In my country people spend years to get this kind of death. If it is ever granted at all. If you ever get really ill in your old age you'll be glad to have it. If you really dont want to keep it, find someone in your country who can pick it up. Less paper trial.
