I was taking a SSRI and a Benzodiazepine for the past 1.5 years. Maximum Recommended Dose. I tapered down and withdrew like a month ago. The severity of withdrawal symptoms has reduced. But, I dont really feel good. I dont know why I decided to quit taking them, they were actually helping. I guess, I was afraid of the dependence and I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to take them indefinitely.

I don't know, if I should restart or just wait some more, maybe the withdrawal is not complete yet...If I do, restart, how long am I supposed to take them for? I usually have OCD and related anxiety/depression...it will become hard to quit, the longer I take them, so maybe dont quit? Keep taking them? I dont know..

You might want to research and experiment with the field of supplements. You might find something that can be an effective alternative without the SSRI side effects. Most supplements are ineffective (which is a good thing as compared to side effects). However occasionally one finds something useful.

If you feel like they were helping and you want to recover, then maybe start taking them again and once you're feeling better, have this discussion with your doctor. But honestly, if you want to recover, it's fine to take pills everyday. I've got friends who take all sorts of medicine each day in order to feel well and survive, from heart conditions to diabetes. It's ok.
