Why is this app so bad on both sides that literally the app and the community are shit and piss? TIKTOK CAPITALIZES ON VIEWS! YOU CAN BUY VIEWS FOR MONEY THERE!! MODERATION IS SO IRRESPONSIBLE THAT PORN IS LITERALLY BEING DISPLAYED ON THE FEED!!! And the community is a whole other story... It's good that I deleted this app, but damn... There's some pretty good content there...

I don't know myself, but I actually saw porn on my TikTok feed. Not digital, but real, where a girl, um, takes a dildo in her mouth... It happened in the summer, of course I don't know how TikTok has changed since then, but I don't think they've changed much...

ive always hated tiktok, i used to have it when it was called musical.ly and i enjoyed it somehow. when it changed into tiktok, the content was whatever but nothing too bad but, once 2020 hit people were posting pretty insane shit (like spreading gore or even porn). i remember people ppsting there saying to avoid such videos with [picture] becaise itll shift into a video of someone dying, i do remmeber visually a lot. i left tiktok becaise of how ot affected my bf, i told him to leave the app because well, THERE WAS SM GORE BAITING "guys... i saw a video from [insert website here no censoring] and it was GRAPHIC, DONT GO THERE!!!!!!". I FUCKING HATE THOSE PEOPLE. when i was still on WPD, there was people posying ab the site and hardly censoring much, like fuck off ur willingly showing kids and teens a gore site fot what? awareness? report the site then!!! posying will spread more ppl to it, not fix the problem. i also remember accounts ppsting "joon discord for thesw tiktok poat exposes" and its just porn, porn, porn. i joined one b4 and it was js thay. shit ppl were talking ab, fucking porn. around either jan 2026 or dec 2025, i saw a porn video on there get spread around, how did it get thru? its low compression and quality and how its posted. its extremely small and the quality is dogshit but it got thru.

Yes, yes, YES! Fuck, I fucking hate this app, it's full of TEENAGERS WITH PLIABLE MINDS! I've heard that degenerate communities passively encourage this kind of behavior through trends and memes (it's the fucking Ankha meme). Every user and commenter who posts porn and gore on TikTok is mostly an underage teenager still in the period of youthful maximalism, who think they are trolling/consider themselves unusual edgy people. It's not fucking normal to maintain a platform with such a problem. Because of this, children literally become targets due to such manipulations, which ultimately lead to sad consequences.

I never used the app out of spite and kinda just ignored it so I don't hate it.

My impression of the app is more dangerous yt, there was some concerning "prank your friends haha" trends on there. Ex. Trip your friend so they fall backwards on their head. Then people got hospitalized.
I know there was also shitty trends in yt and others but I feel after yt censorship went nuts they never went viral again. Can't say for other stuff cause I stay away from all social media.

I also saw too many ppl in public doing their stupid dance. They looked like buffoons. I did not want to be a part of the buffoons. That's reason 2 for never having touched the app.

Tiktok is what happens when the average people come together, it becomes a mess mostly because of Teens and Adults who should never be allowed to share the same spaces without supervision but how kid spaces are long gone, Club Penguin, Cartoon Network Games, ect are to encourage the lower end of age groups to interact with people way older than them because it makes them easy money. It's like asking, "Why not make social media without the useless memes?" Simple, Memes control the average person's mind they need "Humor". So yeah they would post NSFW topics because it causes interest also it causes outrage which gives them clicks/money which makes investors happy.
