Hello :)

I'm pretty certain i'm on the autism spectrum. My psychiatrist mentioned it, and i scored high on the autism screening test a psychiatrist administrated to me last year. Everything makes sense now, but i'm still super depressed and i want to take my life tonight. I just feel my life will not get better, I will keep making "dumb" mistakes and people will keep hurting me. Im tired, i feel i'm living in a world that wasn't created for me. Every morning i wake up hopeful and every night i wish i was never alive.

My Question:
My Doctor helped me schedule an Autism evaluation test for this August, to get a formal diagnosis but i do not feel i have enough will power to stick around until then.

Any advice or suggestions would be very helpful, will my life get better after i get diagnosed? I hope it does, but i've learned being hopeful just keeps alive long enough to keep getting hurt by people.

Thank you kindly.

Being diagnosed will only confirm what you already suspect. Is there any treatments available now? Are better treatments available if diagnosed?
A life is possible if depression can be lessened. Time to ask the professionals some direct quality of life questions.

That's very true. There is no real treatment, but if diagnosed on the spectrum i will have access to support.
I'm certain my depression cannot be lessened unfortunately, i've been on meds and therapy for years now and things have only gone downhill.

Great suggestion, your very wise.
