So I have been attempting various methods of ctb but to no avail, and its gotten to the point where I need a more painless method since I cant keep trying all of these horrifically painful ones anymore.

So that has brought me to the though of hydrogen sulfide? Ive been studying and scouring the web for two ingredients that I already own being , pure iron sulfide pellets (a fertilizer) and this toilet bowl cleaner called "Lime-A-way extra thick toilet bowl gel" (which contains hydrocloric acid) and my plan was to use a metal cooking bowl to pour both substances together and inhaling as much as i can.

It would have to be able to ctb me quickly since i dont live alone so i cant hust disappear for a few hours (max maybe 30-40 mins?). Im planning to do it in our little shed that nobody ever goes into and I highly doubt they would check for at least a day.

Honestly I have three big questions to solidify this method but I dont know the answers to them so hopefully someone can help me

1) is this going to be painless, or at least quick enough that pain wont really matter? (Like would it be less that 1-2 mins before unconsciousness?)

2) do these two ingredients produce hydrogen sulfide in the first place

3) and what should i expect to happen when i mix them ? Will it be an agonizing stinging sensation or like not much and then a rapid unconsciousness

Also idk if this matters but I have about 2lbs of iron sulfide pellets and a whole bottle of lime-a-way stuff . How much should i use to make it nearly an instant death.

Ty so much for reading this i really need the help.

im sorry youve gone through so much pain

yes that does create hydrogen sulfide. i believe that unless you use it in high concentrations, it is more likely to leave you seriously injured and can permanently damage your sense of smell. i have no idea what concentration that would achieve by mixing them and in what amounts.. but it does quickly knock you out above 700 ppm

doing some more research into this before you try would definitely be the best, and maybe someone else could give you better safety advice than i can. i wish you peace whatever you decide to do

Even if you get the right concentration and you can produce enough to ctb inhaling that would basically be breathing acid- it would be absolutely excruciating as it would burn every part of your insides that air touches. On top of that if it doesnt kill you, which it would be very likely not to, it would leave you with likely permanent lung/esophagus damage that would wreck your quality of life even more.

Hydrochloric acid should work, but it produces irritating fumes. I recommend to consider obtaining a dilute sulfuric acid, which can be sold as electrolyte for lead-acid batteries. Unlike hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid is not volatile, while it can be used to produce H2S from iron sulfide as well

FeS + H2SO4 = FeSO4 + H2S

The best way to achieve the highest concentration of H2S is to release it into a smallest enclosed volume such as a plastic bag. It's possible to fill a plastic bag with H2S from a bottle with mixed reagents.

When the bag is filled, it can be put over the head and secured around the neck while holding breath and having the eyes closed. Breath holding won't prevent the sensation of the bad smell, but it should give a sufficient time for securing the bag without losing consciousness.

That depends on the concentration of H2S and the reagents used to produce it. If you follow an optimal protocol (avoiding volatile acids, inhaling H2S from a small enclosed volume through the mouth having the eyes closed), then unconsciousness can be reached in a few seconds without any significant discomfort after a single deep breath.
2) do these two ingredients produce hydrogen sulfide in the first place
Yes, but H2SO4 would be safer to use than HCl in terms of potential discomfort.
3) and what should i expect to happen when i mix them ? Will it be an agonizing stinging sensation or like not much and then a rapid unconsciousness
Stinging sensation can be expected from HCl, not H2S. Initially you'll feel the smell resembling rotten eggs (but not exactly the same, since rotten eggs produce mercaptans that also smell badly) which will rapidly turn into a sickeningly sweet odor, and then you'll either lose your sense of smell shortly before fainting or just faint.

I advice to read the following documents, they should give you some understanding of what can be expected from exposure to H2S

Also idk if this matters but I have about 2lbs of iron sulfide pellets and a whole bottle of lime-a-way stuff . How much should i use to make it nearly an instant death.
For a plastic bag, 1 - 2 table spoons of iron sulfide and 100 ml of battery acid should be more than enough.

While that can be true in case of using concentrated HCl, it's unlikely that such perceptions can be caused by H2S.

H2S has very low acidity which is even less than that of carbonic acid, H2CO3.

Since H2CO3 produced by dissolving carbon dioxide in water doesn't cause excruciating burning sensations, H2S shouldn't cause such perceptions due to its acidity either. Although H2S is known to be producing irritating effects after long exposure, the descriptions of accidents with high concentrations of H2S suggest that people commonly don't notice severe discomfort before collapsing.
On top of that if it doesnt kill you, which it would be very likely not to, it would leave you with likely permanent lung/esophagus damage that would wreck your quality of life even more.
H2S is one of the most potent and deadly poisons. If you breath in H2S at 2000 ppm or above with no further resuscitation started in a few minutes, your chances to survive are nearly zero. People who CTB with H2S are typically pronounced dead at the scene without delivering to a hospital.

The other side of high reliability of H2S poisoning is the risk to injure other people who could be exposed to this gas. This is why I'd use H2S only as a backup method in case if the first-line methods fail.

Wow , thank you this is extremely helpful. But my question is where could i get the battery acid from? Is it possible for ne to make it at home or is there a common store ingredient i could find it in. Or does it need to be pure from an online supplier. Unfortunately i am not able to order things like that to my house since im considered "high risk for ctb" but i could probably mange to sneak something back from like a safeway or something. (If there is a common house hold cleaner or ingredient that contains it do you by chance know what its called). Whenever i try to reaserch this kind of thing online I barely can fond any information on this subject so I am unable to figure out what i could use that would contain it sadly.

In my country, battery acid can be obtained offline in nearly any car accessories shop (where you can buy such things as motor oil, break fluid, etc). If you can't get sulfuric acid, using HCl is OK, but it should be diluted to the point when its fumes become moderately irritating, but it shouldn't be dilute too much, so the reaction with FeS would still go at a decent speed.

OP, I hope yoi don't take any drastic steps. Please consider living. Please seek help, I assume there are professional people that can help you.

Another question. If I mix lime sulphur( available at e-commerce sites) with HCl (I have a bathroom cleaner at home) will it be enough to take me out? I oscillate between going and staying back and would probably use this method, if I decide to go. Please reply.
