• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I really hate being on disability. I feel completely useless. It makes me feel inferior to other people. Nobody in real life is ever going to want to be my friend. It's impossible to not sit here and not compare my life with others in be like damn they got blessed with good parents and were able to leverage the good parents to help themselves get a great salary.

And here I am because two toxic bad parents when they are dirt poor decided they should have kids put me in this world living in poverty. I can't accept being in poverty

No beautiful women is ever going to want me living on this income.

I got more I want to say but I'm going stop for here for now

Life really is so unfair and I'm sorry that you are in this situation. I understand that it can be unbearable living a life that you hate. I wish you the best.

I've been on disability for 20 years. No guilt or shame. And I'm waiting for a beautiful woman to knock on my door any moment now. Seriously, at least I'm able to decently survive.

Yup I've been on disability for 30 years, I'm 60 now. I'm actually pretty grateful that the State in my country is relatively generous to the, uh, 'less fortunate'. Emphasis on 'relatively'. I actually wrote a post recently about how the pro life society that deplores suicide should rightfully 'pay me to live' lol.

OP sounds young though. It must suck for the young. I went on it in my early 30's. On the other hand when young you maybe have a hope of turning your life around or recovering from the illness or condition.

I hear ya on the stigma. Only yesterday I was having dinner with a professional couple I've been staying with. The lady asked me 'what I did', that inevitable question we all dread. I had to tell her about the damn bipolar, and she was very understanding telling me about a good friend of hers with bipolar who got breast cancer, had chemo that fucked with her meds, and got super unwell mentally as a result.

So yeah it was nice she didn't judge me, was understanding and aware of the stigma. Being on disability sucks. So does not being on disability, as Oscar Wilde never said haha.
