QPR is a type of suicide prevention training. It basically involved asking people mundane questions like where they got their shoes or their outfit, followed by the pointed question "do you want to die by suicide?" Honestly, the training was stupid. If anyone found out I was suicidal and tried that crap on me, I would be so annoyed at them I would CTB right there in front of them. No, playing 20 questions with me won't make me take my mind off "sewer sliding".

I wish I could have told them during the training about this website. SS is the best thing and it has saved me. Sure, I still plan to CTB but reading others' perspectives and stories made me feel like I found a place where I belong and can relate to others.
lmao ... QPR ... smh. At least they don't say "commit suicide" because that word (commit) makes it sound like suicide is some kind of crime.

Having to answer mundane questions like where I got my shoes would make me want to commit suicide. 😆 God, I hate small talk.

ב''ה, it's not even about prevention except that this may lower retraining/hiring costs, it's about liability.

If they've asked, they've asked! Their duty to society is done.

If one HAS to ask...they probably already know the answer.
