being trans just fucking sucks enough already because dysphoria is awful, and then society comes along and just kicks you in the teeth.

they just banned puberty blockers for trans kids (specifically only trans kids! not cis ones!) here in the uk and the amount of people supporting it. just the amount of transphobes everywhere it feels like its just over and it's never gonna end, people are just gonna keep being transphobic and we're never gonna get anywhere with this shit. its just so hard not to go doomer mode with this shit when even so called progressives arent trans accepting atleast not fully/truly. i fucking hate it. i hate this world i hate society i hate transphobes.

transphobes deserve their own special layer of hell where they get to experience all the stuff they vote/advocate for for trans people but while being trans. i fucking despise them. theyre inhuman and have zero fucking empathy. they want us to fucking die.

@coolgal82 I'm cis, and I hate it too. I'm so sick of my friends being made to feel like shit because people can't mind their own business. Especially for people who realize they are trans earlier in life PBs can help them avoid the need for risky surgeries down the line, and let them live the life they want.

It won't be progressives who are the most trans accepting, it would be Libertarians - people who want to live their lives with the least amount of government intrusion. Even if they don't accept trans people from a personal view, at least they won't support the government telling people what to do with their own bodies.

ironically most libertarians ive seen are pretty right wing socially and are transphobic. well like the right-libertarians atleast. libertarian leftists (like libertarian socialists/anarcho communists/etc) are almost universally accepting of trans stuff really, most right libertarians ive seen dont support trans people even while saying people should be free to be trans they still support discrimination against trans people

I hate how many people are transphobic too. Just makes me feel like the whole world is against us. Know there are people that will accept us and know that our existence isn't wrong. Listen to people that support us so you feel better about being trans and If you can avoid transphobic stuff on the internet so you are less reminded of transphobia existing. I mostly just try stay ignorant from it so that it doesn't bring me down.

ngl at this point we need some way to simulate how hard being trans is and i think every single cis person should have to go through that even for a little bit maybe then theyd gain some fucking empathy (atleast the ones that didnt have it already atleast)

100% agree, and i'm chronically ill too so i feel the same way about that. why can't people have empathy without having gone through specific things???

I'm so sorry for how awful and transphobic so many people are! You do have some cis supporters like me and it pisses me off that politicians are able to make such hateful, harmful laws and policy. True libertarians would support people living their best lives without governmental interference. In the US, I've never been able to support the Libertarian party though because they have gone to the right. At least in the US there are some areas that are more accepting. When I lived in NY I was fortunately in a diverse, liberal area and people had more individual rights. Now I am in Florida and I hate it here for many reasons. It baffles me that people think they have more freedom here than in democratic states, apparently they are too dumb to realize that personal liberties continue to decrease here. Teachers can't even have pictures with their same sex partners visible in classrooms!
I fly my flags of support proudly and have had people stop to say thank you but I truly wish I could be more of an advocate. I hope that everyone can connect to someone else who values and respects them, regardless of our differences. I hope that you can find people to listen, comfort, and support you!

Transphobes are almost cute in a way. It's impressive how they, with such confidence, disfavor any insight, criticality, rigor, allowing themselves to be trapped in what little reality they understand, not only ambivalent but averse to expansion in their intellectual ability, completely unbeknownst to them. I suppose part of that is commonplace in human nature, but this attitude portrayed in transphobes are of a unique level of pathetic, and the callous tone I use to write this is reflective of that.

sorry i just needed an excuse to write that
