This is page about supplements (not drugs, non of that ssri/snri shit that makes you unable to jerk off for like 2 months) and remedies for depression.
I find it to be useful as taking supplements that can be delivered home is much easier than going to therapy and much cheaper. I hope they will work. I find it a bit helpful to take some of those but I hope to have full stack of supplements. I hope they will help me to get through depression or to stop It, because we lost so many souls already here, and I want to cry.

So far I am taking zinc and lithium orotate (small doses lithium like 15 mg a day, in psychotherapy they prescribe 900mg of lithium carbonate, that amount of lithium is toxic and produce side effects)
I am buying glycine and taurine. All are amino acids

"At the other end of the spectrum are people like me that not only needed treatment to get well but require continuous lifelong treatment to maintain wellness; it's like being a type I diabetic with monitoring (self-monitoring in my case or monitoring blood glucose levels for the diabetic) and then applying appropriate treatment (natural remedies that act on the brain in my case or insulin for the diabetic) they can live a healthy for life, but if treatment is stopped they could be dead within two months. If I give myself as an example I have bipolar syndrome, now today I'm completely free from mania/hypomania and the depressions and have been so for approaching a decade. To maintain this I swallow about twelve pills with breakfast and twelve pills with dinner (if you're interested I take taurine, glycine, lithium orotate, NAC cysteine, turmeric, piperine, vitamins C, low-dose aspirin, EGCg, resveratrol, zinc, omega-3-EPA, D3, B6, a B complex, a multimineral, magnesium and occasional lecithin, Rhodiola, ashwagandha, taurine, tryptophan) see: My Mental Health Recovery for more on how I treat my condition."

Update: 4th day on lithium 20 mg/ day and I do feel less depressed. I still do feel sadness but It is not such severe as before. I do not suffer from mental pain and I do recover faster from anything sad that happens. I am still waiting for the rest of supplements to come.

The guy does state that it takes a while and tweaking to find what combination works. I didn't see on his web site anything about taking Fava beans (which are supposed to increase dopamine) during periods of depression either.

Someone's success story can give you a leg up, but I suspect it is still up to each person to experiment with what the right combination is for them.

To add to what @timf said above, and while I hate to say "be patient," since that's utterly hypocritical of me as I have zero patience when it comes to psych treatments, you're looking at your mood fluctuations on a day-to-day, short-term basis. What really matters is the overall arc of your mood across a longer period of time. Considering suicide not isn't necessarily an indicator that lithium will be unhelpful on a longer timescale. I'm no expert and certainly not a medical professional, but I'd give it a month at the bare minimum before I passed any judgment about the lithium . 2-3 months would be better. Realistically, nothing's going to be a panacea, but you may notice an overall improvement in your functioning on the lithium... it'll just take some time before you can say for sure. Waiting sucks, but you can't tell whether something works for you or not until a fair amount of time has passed. Tracking your mood might help, if you don't already do that.

As an aside, it would be pretty irresponsible of a doctor to start you off at 900 mg of lithium. That dose is also not necessarily toxic--when you're prescribed lithium, your doctor should also have you get frequent blood tests to make sure your lithium levels are within a safe range, especially in the first year or so, or however long it takes to find the dose that's right for you.

I was taking alpha gpc and It might be casue of depresson. I threw it to the bin. I should have researched it better. I am taking 15mg of lithium orotate, now I added zinc, magnesium, d3 and glycine.

Give it a few weeks... It's not a high dose so hopefully you feel better, and you'll still have emotions.. too much lithium makes you feel like a vegtable..

8th day: morning and afternoon was good but later in the evening was pretty bad. I will take all my supplements in the morning next day and see if this pattern continues.
Edit: It was bad because I started to think about future. Which is not very bright for us all I think.

You can jerk off, you just cannot get off.
9th day. Things are good. I took taurine in the morning and evening plus the regular supplements in the morning
