I came on here to talk about my own feelings of wanting to CTB. My best friend caught it in September 2021 and I found her profile on here. It breaks my heart to have read some of her posts and makes me feel so awful. She had talked to me about wanting to CTB many times and told me that I was the only person she had to talk to that understood the feeling.
I of course fully disagree with it being selfish to want to end your own life. However, after actually losing her and having it become a reality, I have realized how hard it is to be the people on the other end picking up the pieces of it.
It scares me.
However, I could never say this out loud to any of my friends, but I am happy for her. I am relieved that she is out of the hell she was living in. I think about her every day. And I hope, hope some day I develop the courage to do the same.
Thank you for having given my friend a community here. I'm glad she found solace somewhere.
