Been nosing on twitter over the past couple of weeks, without interacting because I don't want to attract attention from people. It is like a giant war zone with sub-wars. Some for good reason, aka posts raising awareness about the protests etc. But other posts are literally people hounding abuse at others because they don't share the same opinion. I mean some opinions are unhelpful for inclusion and equality, but I doubt cyber bullying someone for ignorance isn't going to help.
I should really stay away from it all together because as soon as I read a post it fills me with anxiety and just general negativity because of how futile some peoples abusive and hateful posts are. And then seeing everyone jump on the bandwagon. Sadly I feel slightly addicted to Twitter because I've used it for so long. Facebook has been the easiest to come off.
Then you get this site which is generally respectful, understanding and compassionate and I definitely feel safer here. Thank you everyone
