i dont know why, but i feel better after slitting myself. it makes me feel alive (in a good way)

I feel the same way. It's a kind of venting for me, and I usually feel better afterwards.

I usually do, too, though I do recognise that it's a maladaptive coping mechanism, especially when I use SH as a form of punishment.
