I failed :(

I was going to drink my SN yesterday at night, but anxiety took me over. It was harder than I expected, I was afraid it would be painful and wouldn't work. I was also concerned about the person who was going to find me.

SI really sucks, I may try it again, but don't know when since I'm still shaking.

Does anyone here knows someone who failed at first but succeed at the second attempt ?

A former classmate attempted via cutting and failed. About a year later he succeeded via hanging, not that I would recommend that method.

SI certainly sucks. I always wait quite a bit between my attempts and make myself clear why I want to do it. Wishing you the best for the path that's right for you.

How old was he. Did he use partial or full hanging ?

It happened when we were around 13. We were told almost nothing about his death but I assume it was full suspension because some time before his suicide he watched a movie where this method was displayed.

SI unfortunately is annoyingly strong, it seems. wish there was a switch to turn it off. good luck in whatever your next steps are (:

Sorry your SI prevents you at the last minute, it really sucks. Let yourself become calmer first before whatever are you going to do next. Wish you a good luck.
