I know I sound lazy, but it's started to become too much of a chore. And they haven't stopped me from getting worse, they only slow it down.

I feel this. Though I have the problem of coming of meds causing psychosis. I don't remember much from being in psychosis though. Maybe that's better than remembering every day that I resent being alive. I'm currently in hospital and I have to swallow my pills in front of a nurse it's awful I'm so tired of it

If they are not helping and are making you feel worse then go for it.

Meds destroyed my life. I gave up everything cold turkey. Now I'm starting to recover after 1.5 years of being off all that poison. I view all psych meds as poison based on my experience.

You're not lazy, if they don't work, it makes sense that they feel like an unpleasant chore. I tapered myself off SSRI's because they made me completely numb, kind of crazy how meds that are supposed to help just make things worse

I'm on the same boat. I briefly stopped taking my meds a couple weeks ago because my meds were making me physically sick (very low blood pressure, impacted my life and work as I couldn't wake up and would sleep throughout my work shift and have microsleeps while driving). However, I had to start taking them again as I couldn't resist the withdrawal symptoms. I started feeling super ill, cramps, heart burn, stomachache, constipation, nausea, high blood pressure from stress, and even throwing up here and there.

Personally, my biggest challenge in taking my meds is the fact that I have so many tablets I have to take at night, so much that I would physically feel sick right after taking them as it reminded me of my previous overdosing attempts. I would feel like puking all of them and would need antiemetics to combat this feeling. I would also only be able to take these with flavoured milk or drinks on top of that. It's such a pain, either way I'm physically ill…
