so I've got a new job and a date with someone next week I just don't know if it's worth even trying cause I know everything will go to shit as normal my just drop everything and ctb on Thursday to save hurting and letting down more people

I've had this before though with the same boss everything will be great for a couple of months then it will go to shit I've had 50+ jobs in 8 years and everyone went bad

They still see you as potential, otherwise looking at your 50+ failed jobs in 8 years, bosses would be questioning that. Bosses found out I got stuck in a psych ward due to a suicide attempt, their view of me would be incredibly negative and therefore I'm not worthy in their eyes. Same goes for relationships.

I only got this job cause I know the boss quite well and he said he felt bad for me after the year I've had that's the only reason I got it

You still accepted the job, or you can walk in and tell him, "thanks for the offer, but I have other plans". I start university next week, I have another job lined up, and I'm only doing this to make more money for my wife, and I feel if I fuck this up, it should push me over the edge.

That's a fair point and tbh I'm kind of hoping to fuck it up to give me that last little push and comfimation I need that everything I do turns to shit and always will like it has done for the last 14 years
