I have been on a long journey of not doing it, not watching porn, not giving into any addictions but I just sort of ended stuffs today and it feels like a brutal thing. I feel like it will intervene with other things, my goals and whatnot, my mind will be messed up for a few days from now. I started by not really thinking I would do it, I started by just looking at some porn, getting that dopamine and whatnot, but I did eventually give up after edging stuffs for hours ( 2-3 ). I tried not to do it ( it's a big things for me because the whole thing makes you so lethargic and whatnot. I just don't know if I would be able to continue on my journey anymore. I feel down.

I love you. Don't let what's written above get into who I am, who we are. Phases of my self destruction are just phases, they have to heal though.

Relapse happens. Please feel okay that you can start again. Relapsing doesn't make you bad and it doesn't mean you are defeated.

I've relapsed more than I like to say on my behavior. It's always so painful. But it is so worth going back to the other side.

Please be kind to yourself. And look into 12 step support for your specific behavior. Be well.

Thank you for these words, I needed to hear something like that. I was just really upset thinking I ruined my progress or something but then I realised I am still the same person. It's just some temporary thoughts that were affecting me so bad.

Serious question.... what is wrong with masturbation? It's not hurting anyone. In fact, fantasies are often the safest way to get satisfaction without heartbreak, disappointment, STDs, pregnancies, and unwanted consequences.
Is it possible to fap without watching porn?
These are serious questions and I mean no disrespect.

I understand porn addiction is a real thing, but I also wouldn't consider this a relapse really, at least not to me. Watching porn is really normal, and I don't think you have to cut it out completely, or at the very least, get down on yourself for doing it once after having not done it for a while. Although if cutting it out completely is your goal, then I would say you're doing very well if you have been on a long journey of not watching it. At the very least, try not to feel bad about masturbating outright. That is normal and can even be healthy as long as it isn't ruining your life.

It sounds like despite this, you're making a lot of progress with your goals. I believe in you, and please know that this doesn't mean all of your progress is ruined.
