i decided on a date!!

just wanted to put it here that i decided on a date, june 27th 2028!! it's a day that is special to me for a few reasons that i won't list.

it's a bit of a ways out, but it's comforting to have a date. in fact, the past few days since i decided on it i've found immense happiness in counting down the days.

i have started writing my "note" as it were. in reality it's a collection of notes, i'm aiming for one a day until i'm gone. they are kinda written as open letters, sort of like this, actually.

i'm planning on writing personalised notes for those close to me around 100-150 days out from the day, it feels wrong to do it now.

I decided on my date as well, a couple of days ago. It will be an agonising wait until 28th March.

Wow, that's quite some time away. I know you said it's private so I won't pry, but I couldn't wait that long LOL living till march feels impossible.

Call me selfish but hopefully by then you'll have no need by then (That's how I feel about all far away dates to be honest). Either way I hope for nothing but the best for you friend.

it's certainly going to be a struggle!! but it's the right date for me. need to wait on a few things to happen to make sure i don't affect people around me, and this is the first opportunity i'll have!!

and yeah, it would be nice to be okay by then, we'll see what happens :]

Really helps to have a date planned, you know there's an end to the suffering in sight that way. I understand having to wait until a time when things are in place, I'm in similar situation I need to make sure my wife is going to be financially stable before I ctb.

Not rlly no. Was planning for april 1st for shits and giggles, but it's not that good of a date when you want to take things seriously. Didn't want to push things back either, and march 14th was the most fitting date. Funnily enough, that's a month after valentines day, so when others are celebrating love, I'll be celebrating 1 month left.

I have two diaries, in which I write daily, one on the computer and another in the form of a physical notebook, in the notebook I write things that I don't mind if someone reads it, and on the computer I have the diary in which I write what I feel, what I think etc. So if someone reads my physical notebook diary they will be disappointed because they only read things about diet, exercise and things like that hahahaha. Sometimes it helps a lot against anxiety to write and draw, both on the computer and in the notebook.
