I bumped into a toxic friend today

As I was walking to where I had to be, I spotted a person in sight

They looked familiar and I immediately remembered who they were

This was a person I was relatively close to a few years back

We bonded over anime and watched some together

Over time, I confided in them about my family life and the abuse I've been facing

After going over everything, they said my brother abuses me because of how I blindly support my dad

That the abuse….is solely my fault

Being that I'm now on campus due to my brothers abuse and my fathers negligence…maybe she's right

That it is, and always was, my fault
