Story I attempted today (Obviously not successful)

This is really low quality but I just wanted to talk about it.
So I tried to kill myself today because I saw a chance and I didn't want to take it down, so I tried cutting my neck open and then my friend turned towards me and I stopped because I don't want to kill myself in front of my friend, since it's a pretty traumatizing thing. I probably should've done it quieter.
(Yes, I do have irl friends.)

That method sounds risky, unreliable and like it would be pretty much impossible to go through with because the survival instinct kicks in. And I also wouldn't see it as being the best idea to try to ctb when someone else is there as they could just interfere. But anyway I wish you the best.
