It's hot where I live. 42-44c or 106-108F with no rain and horrible sun and the breeze feels like a violent hairdryer. I'm thinking about simply wandering off. Start walking early one morning with no food water or care for direction into the wilderness. Maybe I'll run and walk and just keep going headed straight into the day in the hottest sun, no stopping to read or cool off. Sweat pouring like buckets and I'll eventually dehydrate, cramp up collaps and hopefully die. And possibly the buzzards will come before anyone finds my body.

Sounds very painful. I don't advise going this route.

Definitely not a peaceful or quick way to go, so I'm sorry that you've reached a level of desperation that you're willing to try something like this. I wish you find peace whatever your decision is.

Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi, in that order would be more enjoyable and a lot quicker. (Don't drink anything).

I was a first responder for a few years and I treated people with heat-related injuries. It is an awful way to go and there could be permanent damage if you're rescued.

I completely understand your desire to go in nature. That appeals to me too but I think I 'd rather freeze to death. It's hot where I live now too, this F'ing state of Florida. I'm from a place with very cold winters and I feel much more at home there. Walking into the woods on a really cold night, finding a place among the trees to sit, and then knock myself out with zolpidem/Ambien. It just feels so peaceful to me.

I don't think you will go through with this. It should take 3 days to die from dehydration and more from hunger. I have thought about starving myself in the woods but it's too difficult to overcome hunger.
If you want to go in heat maybe you should swim to the centre of the lake and dive.

That does sound like a horrible way to go, but I understand the feeling of being desperate to leave. I think that I could never do that method personally. I hope that in whatever you decide to do, you find relief from your suffering. I wish you the best.
