Don't worry about it. His list is a crock of dumb shit. Just typical bullshit that appeals to socially isolated boys and young men who are woefully unaware of how much their anxiety is affecting them.
Seriously, don't waste your time on it. It's a bunch of depressing and psychologically stunted fairytales for idiots who cope by imagining themselves to be really smart.
I'm so dumb this is why I was in special ed in highschool lmfao
I don't understand what half of these mean except massive social isolation and genetic engineering but everything else flew over my head :(
If you wanna eli5 for some for your favorite ones, feel free! :)
No,They aren't " dumb shit" as you said. The concepts I list are real with his own real consequences. And not a bunch of garbage "fairytales" that I just said for trying to be smart.
I'll explain a few for you yeahwell and prove why you ought to take seriously:
Doomsday hypothesis or Doomsday argument (DA) is a probalistic/Statistical claim with a mathematical formula who might predict at how long the human race will survive. which give an estimate of the total number of humans born so far. Simply put, it says that supposing that all humans are born in a random order, chances are that any one human is born roughly in the middle.
Here a video explanation.
Technological Singularity (Another variation is Technocapital singularity) is another hypothetical claim which said that in time at which technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in unforeseeable changes to human civilization.
For giving an example, an artificial intelligence who develop the ability to upgrade by himself without human intervention (Like Erewhon machines).

Accelerationism is the idea that capitalism, depending on variants, should be "accelerated" and drastically exaggerated to trigger unprecedented revolt and the subsequent upholding of new, unique systems.
In Nick Land words:
"In philosophical terms, It describes an absolute horizon – and one that is closing in. Thinking takes time, and accelerationism suggests we're running out of time to think that through, if we haven't already. No contemporary dilemma is being entertained realistically until it is also acknowledged that the opportunity for doing so is fast collapsing."
Here a good introduction where I borrow the explanation
Anyone trying to work out what they think about accelerationism better do so quickly. That’s the nature of the thing. It was already caught up with trends that seemed too fast to track when it bega…
