I didn't say to do it? I stated fear is the normal reaction and told him the physiological effects of full suspension hanging.

Partial or full suspension. Full has high success rate if your rope holds compared to partial. Practice , practice practice. Read the resources thread. U should be able to pass out within 3 mins else abort the mission, u are not doing it correctly can lead to agonising death.
