  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Take it slow
Where are you hurrying anyway? Take ur time, even if it's an hour or more. Progress is progress.

Routine
Hair once 2-3 days
Ass etc.
Armpits *if I remember
get out of the bath/shower

*Face (3-5 days, strong cleanser with some kind of acid)

You can switch face after hair or before routine but I do it after everything because I forget.

Deodorant is your best friend, secondly after dry shampoo.

You can leave your tips, just be respectful

Baby wipes are good if you can't shower. I don't think they fully clean you but if you wipe down your body with them you will feel a lot cleaner.

Disposable tooth brushes can be good if you can't brush your teeth. I guess they are preloaded with toothpaste or powder.

Someone on here I think suggested having a mouth rinse (with fluoride or other anti-cavity stuff) on hand when actually brushing is too much to do. It's helped me at least do some oral care.

dry shampoo if available. sometimes it helps to just put your hair in a bun or tie it back. also on days that are really rough, i usually just drink lots of water and eat mints/chew gum.

Honestly, one of the reasons I tend to have a partner around is because I end up neglecting myself if I don't have someone to keep up appearances for... However I very much want to stress that being codependent on someone else or "falling in love with them" isn't something beneficial if you're struggling with self-regulation in my opinion.

The thing I mainly forget about is shaving my face,
But I set daily alarms that work with my schedule with little reminder notes for all the important stuff

This is gonna sound odd as I know a bad day for many often means bed/house bound. I struggle to keep up hygiene. I've spent too much time camping/on expeditions where I know going without anything for a while isn't too bad. But not suitable for society/civilisation.
Having work/job makes me wash/look after myself to 'keep up appearances'.
Also it would make me do some exercise - feel like I need to 'earn' my shower.
