Hydrochloric acid purity for hydrogen sulphide method?

The peaceful pill handbook i gotta say is written like crap. They mention the method and tell you how to make it but they don't tell you the purity of the chemicals to use lmao. Does anyone know what purity the hydrochloric acid must be in order to succeed with this method? Seems 31% is the highest i am able to find. Thank you all in advance

HCl is a gas so the most they can fit into water is around 37%

Yeah ~30+ would be considered high concentration. This should be sold as a percentage weight/weight (w/w) or volume/volume.
It can actually go a bit higher in the lab but they don't sell that because it starts fuming off acid gas

I see, so that part is all figured out. But the other agent, what chemical is a good mix of easy to buy and functions for the method? By any chance would you know?

I'm not sure sorry, I've not researched this method
