Yes, you can hide your phone, but I don't think that your survival instinct will stop you from finding it. Anyone got any ideas?

Remove the battery from the phone and put it far away from it. Or use benzo like ativan to stay calm

Depends how bad you are feeling, if it's bad enough I don't think the survival instinct will be as strong. Could be wrong though.
Peace

Personally I won't take any measurments that will prevent me from contacting someone. So whenever I attempt I have to be at least 99% sure that eventhough I have my phone with me, it won't make me contact anyone. If that 1% still makes me to contact the ambulance that means that something in me still has hope and I will have to take that road first. After CTB there's no going back. This might just mean that my plan is being postponed but I think I'm fine with that because the next time when I attempt I will be even more sure.

Set your phone to a password you have no chance of remembering and set it to reset your phone if you guess wrong too many times. This way it'll take a long time for your phone to be usable if you try, and if you live your phone isn't totally unusable.

I just read that in the UK, you can't call 999 without a SIM. So I guess this is what I will be doing.

Sounds good to me. I don't have a survival instinct, so won't be a problem for me.
