I don't care if it's a "harmful" method as long as it doesn't put my life in danger. I need relief, pls help!

I wish I knew, otherwise I'd have way less reasons to be here.

I once asked ChatGPT and all it could offer for advice was "breathing exercises" and then it told me to go seek professional help. :/

Are you near your bed/where you sleep? You could lay down and put your blanket over your whole body, if you have stuffed animals you can surround yourself with them, or putting a pillow on top of you. Then putting music you find relaxing on headphones, or a comfort show/movie/video. I call it a comfort cocoon lmao. I also use a heating pad which helps a bit
I've been studying some tips from the mental health worksheets megathread, the breathing tends to help me but theyre some other coping skills you may find helpful

Can't tell, unfortunately. I suffer from it, too. Exercise helps. But what if you are too depressed to always work out or move?

I wish I could delete my anxiety, too. I do what I can with getting out into nature, being with friends, or, at least, friendly people, getting hugs anywhere I can, and meditating. When all else fails, I take either a Valium or a Klonopin. But I don't like relying on those. I hope you can find some relief soon. đź«‚ x
